MBC-developed Dollar General retail sites can now be found in Boyertown, Catawissa, Newville, Reading and Turbotville (pictured here).
Catawissa – MBC purchased a property formerly known as Catawissa Lumber. We also purchased an adjacent house. We razed the house and combined that lot with one of the parcels from the Catawissa Lumber site. MBC used the combined site to construct a new build-to-suit site for Dollar General.
Reading – On a spot approximately three blocks north of Penn Street a former four-story furniture factory burned to the ground in 2010. MBC was eager to tackle this massive redevelopment opportunity and bring much-needed jobs to downtown Reading. MBC completed this build-to-suit in just four months.
Turbotville – We acquired a former automotive repair facility and constructed an addition to it to create this new retail unit. We also installed a completely new, on-site, elevated sand mound sanitary sewer system as the building had no sewer service at all prior to our acquisition.
